I had to post as I am super excited as I have been in contact with a band I find ages ago that I reeeeeeeeeeeally love!!!
I have trawled through so many wedding websites trying to find a decent band that both DLC and I will love, but also one that the guests will appreciate. I found x-ell through our photographers blog as they had performed at a wedding they worked and recommended them if people were looking for something that was a bit rockier, which we are. I figured I want to choose a band that reflects who we are, not end up choosing an old farty band to please other people.
Anyways I spoke to their manager today and got a few details (bless him he was a bit vague, just kept saying they were really good and did lots of weddings!) but hopefully someone from the band should be getting back to me tomorrow - yippee. Oo and have just read that they supported Shayne Ward in Manchester back in 2008, so fingers crossed they should be half decent!
