Time to launch countdown?

365 days to go...

Had to blog today as it is most definitely a significant date - 1 year today and DLC and I will officially just have been declared husband and wife (fingers crossed!). It doesn't really feel like the big day is now less than a year away, I think it is because we have been engaged for quite a while and I'm used to telling people it's ages away. I have had a funny feeling all day though whenever I see 4th December written - it feels like my special date!

I must say that I wasn't lazy last week and I actually did some physical mock-ups of the save the dates. I have taken pictures so will post soon - I am actually in love with them. I did a few different versions and need to now take parts from each to create the final version. The only thing is our big printer has decided to tell me it is out of magenta ink and won't print at all (even though I don't want to use bloody magenta!). So hopefully I can get DLC to do a refill this weekend and I can do a final design - yipppppeee!

I have had a pretty full on week so I haven't had a lot of time to be wedding focused. Only 3 weeks left until Christmas now I am in full festive flow! I put our tree up last night so that is one major thing off my list. Have also made good progress with present buying so need to start the epic (and magical!) part of wrapping everything. Always my favourite task! I move everything out of my way in the front room and settle down with the tree lights on, a Christmas film blaring out, infinite amounts of ribbon and cello tape and metres of wrapping paper. It normally takes me hours to wrap just a few presents as I insist on adding sprinkles, sparkles and tags to EVERY present but I absolutely love it!

Have a busy weekend ahead of me as well so will probably be quiet quiet on the blog front. I think I will get more into the swing of this when next year comes (and the distraction of Christmas is out of the way) and I realise that 'yes you are getting married THIS year'.

Anyways I had better get on with the dreaded Friday afternoon - only a few hours to go!
H x
